Diagnostic Assistant Report — the friendly version of the "why"
When something acts up (engine won't start, overheating, vibration), AftLog now writes you a plain-language report instead of just handing you a list:
- What this usually means — plain language, no jargon
- What your logs show — tied to your actual trips, fills, and hours
- Most likely causes, what you can check yourself, and what a mechanic will look at
- Things to watch for, plus a note on any photos you've attached
It's a summary you can read on the water or hand to a mechanic. A printable PDF version is next.

The full app structure is built

Site is live and the waitlist is open
AftLog is real: name locked, domain secured, and the $29 one-time price is on the table. Here's what's happened so far:
- Name, brand, and tagline locked — "Keeping your boat shipshape!"
- aftlog.com registered and the landing page is live
- Foundations done the right way: distribution gated on build quality, keystore secured, repos organized, decisions written down before code
- Research confirmed the gap: no dominant boat-maintenance app, and boat owners are searching for checklists, logs, and "why won't my engine start" answers
- Waitlist open at $29 one-time — no subscription, no ads, ever
Next: the 2-week waitlist window tells us if this is the app boat owners want. Meanwhile we start the content: winterize checklists, used-boat inspection guides, and the buying quiz that helps you pick the right boat in the first place.
